Is it normal for edge banding glue lines to be obvious in whole-house customization?

Whether obvious glue lines are normal depends on the process and the board. PUR edge banding or laser edge banding usually produces finer glue lines; with ordinary EVA hot melt adhesive, lines are more easily seen on light-colored boards and in contrast with dark-colored boards. Slight fine lines are common, but obvious glue overflow, blackening, or interrupted lines are not normal. Our edge banding process can use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding; board options include particle board, plywood, eco board, and OSB; environmental grades include HENF, ENF, E0, FAS, and F4 star. We recommend visiting the factory to see processes such as cutting, edge banding, and side drilling before deciding.
