Is it normal for whole-house customization worktops to crack?

Whether a worktop cracking is normal cannot be stated as a blanket rule; it depends on the material and the location. If fine cracks appear around cutouts, seams, or the area around the hob on a quartz worktop, it is mostly related to cutout dimensions, substrate support, or thermal expansion and contraction, and these are avoidable issues. Our worktops are commonly quartz, with sintered stone also available as an option; cutouts are processed according to the actual dimensions of the sink and hob, and during measurement we also confirm wall flatness and the finishing method. If a crack does occur, do not repair it yourself first; take photos as evidence and have the vendor come on site to determine whether it is an installation issue or a usage issue. Cabinet bodies carry a ten-year warranty, but man-made impacts and water damage are not covered.
