Is it normal for whole-house customization to have edge separation?

Whether edge separation is normal depends on the location and extent; it cannot be generalized as normal. Slight lifting at the edge banding or door panel finish is mostly related to a humid use environment, water soaking, or impact, and such cases fall outside the warranty scope under the warranty terms. However, if large-area edge separation occurs shortly after installation, that is not normal and may be related to the edge banding process or the board itself. On our side, edge banding can use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding, so the process is guaranteed. If a problem does occur, it is recommended to take photos as evidence first and contact the merchant for an on-site inspection; do not handle it yourself.
