What should I do if formaldehyde levels exceed the standard in whole-house customization?

Don't panic first. The first step is to find a qualified third-party testing agency to conduct air testing, and once you have the report, communicate with the merchant. Here, we offer a ten-year warranty on cabinet bodies and returnable if not environmentally compliant; this is written into the contract. At the same time, you can schedule a factory visit to observe processes such as cutting, edge banding, and side drilling, to check whether the edge banding is tight and whether the boards have any odor. For remediation, ventilate more, use activated carbon and air purifiers, and do not rush to move in. If the levels do indeed exceed the standard, use the report to request rectification or return/exchange; do not rely only on verbal promises.
