Is there a fee for on-site measurement with whole-house customization?

Whether on-site measurement is charged varies by company; some collect a deposit first and deduct it later, while others discuss it after measuring. On our side, on-site measurement is generally arranged within 1–7 days. During measurement, we confirm wall flatness, the condition of the kickboard and internal/external corners, and then decide the closing method; after the water and electrical positioning is completed, we re-measure, and the water supply and drainage for the sink, gas socket locations, and the range hood exhaust path all need to be confirmed clearly in advance. When this preliminary work is done carefully, the cabinets can be installed more smoothly later. For pricing, custom wardrobes are calculated by projected area, width × height, and custom kitchen cabinets are calculated by linear metre; the conversion between developed area and projected area changes with the cabinet body layout and must be calculated according to the drawings. For reference prices, for example, a custom kitchen cabinet with a basic configuration of E0 particle board cabinet body plus PET door panel is 900–1,000 yuan/linear metre in Beijing and 765–850 yuan/linear metre in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou.
