Going to a factory saves the middleman and showroom markup, but how much you save depends on the configuration tier. Take wardrobes as an example: for the basic configuration of E0 particle board + PET door panels, Beijing is 500–550 yuan/㎡, and Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou regions are 425–467.5 yuan/㎡; for the mainstream configuration of ENF particle board + PET door panels, Beijing is 700–800 yuan/㎡, and Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou regions are 595–680 yuan/㎡; for the upgraded configuration of ENF eco board + PET door panels, Beijing is 950–1,100 yuan/㎡, and Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou regions are 807.5–935 yuan/㎡. Kitchen cabinets are calculated by linear metre: for the basic configuration, Beijing is 900–1,000 yuan/linear metre, and Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou regions are 765–850 yuan/linear metre. What factory-direct work saves is the channel fee; the configuration itself still has to be paid for.
