What thickness of back panel is suitable for whole-house customization?
There is no uniform standard for back panel thickness; it depends on the cabinet's use and load conditions. For wardrobes, 5 mm to 9 mm is common: 9 mm offers better stability and lower risk of moisture deformation, while 5 mm saves budget but relies more on wall flatness. For kitchen cabinets and sideboards, where moisture resistance and load-bearing matter, a suitably thicker back panel is more reliable. During measurement, we confirm wall flatness, kickboard and internal/external corner conditions, then decide the closing method and back panel construction. Cabinet body boards can be particle board, plywood, eco board or OSB, with environmental grades HENF, ENF, E0, FAS or F4 star available, and a ten-year warranty on cabinet bodies. Specific thickness should be confirmed according to drawings and site conditions.
