Does too much whole-house customization cabinetry feel oppressive?

Whether it feels oppressive is mainly not about the number of cabinets, but about color, depth, and negative space. Light-colored door panels with some open shelving let even a full wall breathe; large dark areas with floor-to-ceiling closed cabinets make small spaces feel stuffy easily. We recommend keeping cabinet depth at 35–60 cm depending on use, leaving layering at the top, and not letting walkways become too narrow. During measurement we check the wall surface and internal/external corners, and the finishing method also affects the look. There are many board and door panel options, including double-faced melamine, PET, and vacuum-formed, and color schemes can be decided after seeing samples at the factory.
