Free design itself is not a trap; what matters is whether it is used only to get you to pay a deposit. A reliable approach is: measure before designing, and during measurement confirm wall flatness, the condition of the kickboard and internal/external corners, then decide the closing method; re-measure after water and electrical positioning is complete, and confirm the sink water supply and drainage, gas socket, and range hood exhaust path in advance. Whether free design is willing to do these details says a lot about its attitude. In addition, the design draft must be reflected in the quote.
