Can whole-house custom furniture be dismantled if I no longer want it later?
It can be dismantled, but it depends on how it was installed and whether you want to reuse it after dismantling. Cabinet bodies are mostly assembled and fixed on site; panels and hardware will suffer wear and tear when dismantled, especially at glued joints, closing strips, and kickboards—after dismantling and reinstalling, the fit will be reduced. In addition, the quote does not include removal of existing cabinets. If you need removal of existing cabinets, please state this in advance and confirm separately based on the on-site situation. Therefore, it is best to finalize the layout before proceeding and not count on major changes later. If dismantling is really necessary, it is recommended to have the original installer do it. There is a ten-year warranty on cabinet bodies, but damage caused by manual dismantling and reassembly is not covered by the warranty, and the same applies to water damage and moisture.
