How many drawers are most practical for a wardrobe?

The number of drawers depends on household size and the amount of clutter; generally 3–5 is most practical: two to three shallow drawers for underwear, socks, and ties, and one to two deep drawers for sweaters or bedding. Too few is not enough for sorting, while too many takes up hanging space and increases hardware costs. Drawers are recommended between waist and knee height, making both squatting and bending easier. Hardware options include Blum, Hettich, DTC, Higold, and Hegu; slide rail quality directly affects service life. ten-year warranty on cabinet bodies, returnable if not environmentally compliant, but water damage, moisture, and human-caused damage are not covered by the warranty.
