What depth is suitable for a sideboard?

The depth of a sideboard mainly depends on whether you want to place small appliances on it. If you only store cups, saucers, and wine bottles, 35–40 cm is enough; if you want to place a coffee machine or rice cooker, a worktop depth of 40–45 cm is recommended, and remember to reserve space for sockets and heat dissipation. Upper cabinets can be shallower at 25–30 cm to avoid bumping your head. Regarding price, the mainstream configuration reference range is RMB 400–800/㎡ in Beijing and RMB 340–680/㎡ in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou. Please note that the following are reference prices and do not constitute a formal quotation; they can be used for preliminary budgeting, and actual projects need further calculation based on dimensions, design, materials, hardware, quantity, and site conditions.
