Why does a custom kitchen cabinet require two measurements?

Custom kitchen cabinets require two measurements because the "true dimensions" of the kitchen are only established after the water and electrical work is completed. During the initial measurement, only the general layout can be determined; the sink and water supply/drainage positions, gas and socket points, and the range hood exhaust path have not yet been finalized. The re-measurement is carried out after the water and electrical positioning is completed, verifying these points together with wall flatness and internal/external corners, and the worktop cutouts must also be processed according to the actual dimensions of the sink and hob. The two measurements essentially consist of one for finalizing the design and one for finalizing fabrication; skipping either one makes rework very likely later. In terms of price, the basic configuration (E0 particle board cabinet body + PET door panel) is 900–1,000 yuan/linear metre in Beijing and 765–850 yuan/linear metre in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou; the mainstream configuration (ENF particle board cabinet body + PET door panel) is 1,020–1,250 yuan/linear metre in Beijing and 867–1,062.5 yuan/linear metre in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou; the upgraded configuration (ENF eco board cabinet body + PET door panel) is 1,300–1,650 yuan/linear metre in Beijing and 1,105–1,402.5 yuan/linear metre in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou. The above are reference prices and do not constitute a formal quotation; actual projects require further calculation based on dimensions, design, materials, hardware, quantity, and site conditions. (On-site measurement is free; no measurement fee is charged.)
