Which is better, laser edge banding or PUR, depends on your usage scenario and budget. Laser edge banding uses a laser to melt and bond the functional layer of the edge banding strip, with almost no glue line, the cleanest appearance, and good water resistance and durability, but the equipment and edge banding strip costs are high, so the price is usually higher. PUR edge banding is the high-end option among adhesive routes, with strong heat and water resistance, a fine glue line, and more balanced cost-effectiveness. Our edge banding process can do both PUR and laser (F17). We recommend prioritizing laser or PUR for humid and high-temperature areas such as kitchens and bathroom cabinets; PUR is sufficient for bedroom wardrobes.
