Which is better to use, push-to-open catches or handles?

There is no absolute good or bad between push-to-open catches and handles; it depends on where they are used. Push-to-open catches win on a clean door panel with no protrusions, suitable for minimalist styles and full-height runs of door panels, but the press feel depends on hardware quality, cheap ones tend to fail, and if there are children at home they are easy to open by accident. Handles win on stability and durability, opening with a single pull, and are more reliable for high-frequency kitchen use. My suggestion is to use handles in the kitchen and high-use areas of the wardrobe, and push-to-open catches for low-frequency, clean-faced areas such as TV cabinets and sideboards. For hardware we can choose Blum, Hettich, DTC, Higold, Hegu, configured according to budget.
