What is the difference between Kronospan boards and Egger boards?
Both are popular among imported boards, and the difference mainly lies in the substrate and the decor system. Kronospan focuses on OSB and particle board, with a harder core and good screw-holding strength, and its decors follow a natural wood grain direction; Egger boards are mostly particle board, with a fine surface texture and high color saturation, offering richer choices in light tones and solid colors. Both brands can achieve the F4 star level for environmental performance. On our side, cabinet body boards can be particle board, plywood, eco board, or OSB, door panels can be paired with double-sided melamine, PET, vacuum-formed, lacquered, or real wood veneer, and edge banding can use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding; which one to use specifically can be decided after seeing the cutting and edge banding at the factory.
