What is the difference between lacquered door panels and vacuum-formed door panels?
The difference between lacquered and vacuum-formed door panels lies mainly in the process and the finished result. Lacquered door panels are sprayed with paint and then baked at high temperature; the finish is full, has high gloss, can be made in gloss or matte, and offers a high degree of freedom in shaping, but it is susceptible to knocks and dents, and repairs are relatively troublesome. Vacuum-formed door panels use a PVC film vacuum-pressed onto the substrate, formed in one piece, with well-wrapped edges and corners, resistant to scratches and wear, with shapes mainly based on raised and recessed lines, and the price is usually more friendly. We can make both types of door panels, with PUR edge banding or laser edge banding available. For prices, refer to wardrobes: basic configuration E0 particle board + PET door panel is 500–550 yuan/㎡ in Beijing and 425–467.5 yuan/㎡ in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou; mainstream configuration ENF particle board + PET door panel is 700–800 yuan/㎡ in Beijing and 595–680 yuan/㎡ in Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou. The above are reference prices and do not constitute a formal quotation; the actual price must be calculated based on dimensions, design, and hardware.
