Which looks better, high-gloss door panels or matte door panels?

There is no standard answer to which looks better, high-gloss or matte; it depends on the space and the lighting. High-gloss door panels reflect light strongly and look bright and open, making small spaces or rooms with average daylight feel larger, but they easily show fingerprints and fine scratches, and reflections are obvious under lighting; matte door panels have low gloss and a restrained texture, colors look more stable, and knocks and fingerprints are less noticeable, making them suitable for large areas of cabinet bodies. In places with heavy cooking fumes such as kitchens, matte is usually more enduring. Our door panels come in multiple options such as double-faced, PET, and baked paint; we suggest taking sample blocks and comparing them under the lighting in your home before deciding.
