What is the difference between skin-feel door panels and matte door panels?
Skin-feel and matte are often mentioned interchangeably, but they are not the same thing. Skin-feel door panels have a fine elastic coating on the surface that feels smooth like skin and is relatively resistant to fingerprints, but they are vulnerable to oil stains and scratches from hard objects, so cleaning should be done with a soft cloth. Matte door panels more often refer to low-gloss finishes or PET, with weak reflection and calm colors, and their scratch resistance and stain resistance are generally more reliable than skin-feel. Both look soft visually; the difference lies in the feel and surface structure. Our door panels are available in PET, double-faced finish, and other options. We suggest visiting the factory to actually touch sample blocks before deciding.
