What is the difference between melamine-faced board and PET door panels?

The difference between melamine-faced board and PET door panels lies mainly in the surface. Melamine-faced board uses melamine-impregnated paper as the surface: it is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, affordable, and available in many colors and patterns, making it suitable for wardrobes and shoe cabinets when the budget is limited. PET door panels have a PET film surface: high gloss, fine hand feel, easy to clean, and they give kitchen cabinets and sideboards a more premium look, but they are susceptible to scratches from hard objects. We can make both types of door panels; melamine-faced board is more practical, while PET is more about appearance. On pricing, for a wardrobe with the basic configuration of E0 particle board + PET door, Beijing is 500–550 yuan/㎡, Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou is 425–467.5 yuan/㎡; for the mainstream configuration of ENF particle board + PET door, Beijing is 700–800 yuan/㎡, Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou is 595–680 yuan/㎡. The above are reference prices and do not constitute a formal quotation; the actual price must be calculated based on dimensions, design, materials, hardware, quantity, and on-site conditions.
