How do you build a built-in cabinet in a hallway?

For a built-in cabinet in a hallway, the key is to first check the wall conditions. When measuring, we confirm the wall flatness, the kickboard, and the internal and external corners, then decide the finishing method (F28); otherwise, gaps are likely to remain once the cabinet is built in. For non-load-bearing walls, a shallow cabinet can be made by local grooving, with the depth controlled at 30–35 cm, which is just right for shoes or miscellaneous items; for load-bearing walls, do not alter the structure and instead use a thin cabinet placed against the wall. Re-measure after the water and electrical positioning is completed (F29) to avoid the socket being blocked by the cabinet body. For the cabinet body panels, particle board, plywood, eco board, or OSB can be selected (F14); for hallways, it is recommended to choose one with better moisture resistance.
