How should a bathroom cabinet be made waterproof?
Bathroom cabinet waterproofing should be considered at two levels: the cabinet body itself and the installation interface. For the cabinet body, prefer plywood or eco board, use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding, leave a gap between the back panel and the floor, and raise the cabinet legs with metal legs to avoid direct soaking in water; worktop cutouts should be machined according to the actual sink dimensions and sealed. On the wall side, wall flatness, kickboard and internal/external corner conditions are confirmed during measurement before deciding the finishing method, and anti-mold sealant is applied to gaps against the wall. Cabinet bodies carry a ten-year warranty, but water soaking, dampness and human damage are not covered, so floor drainage slope and wet/dry separation should also be done properly at the same time.
