How should a washbasin cabinet be made moisture-proof?

For moisture-proofing a washbasin cabinet, the board material and edge banding are the foundation, but the installation details are what really matter. For the cabinet body, choose plywood or eco board, and use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding to reduce moisture seeping in through cut edges. Use adjustable metal cabinet legs instead of placing the cabinet directly on the floor. Apply anti-mold sealant where the worktop meets the wall, and add a sealing ring at the drain pipe opening. Inside the cabinet, you can apply an aluminum foil moisture-proof mat, and leave a ventilation gap in the back panel against the wall. Note that during the warranty period, water damage, dampness, and human-caused damage are not covered by the warranty, so moisture-proofing should be done right the first time.
