How should storage be done in a hallway space?

Don't just think about putting a low cabinet in the hallway—that wastes the upper half of the wall. A more practical approach is a floor-to-ceiling slim cabinet, with the depth controlled to a level that can hold shoeboxes and miscellaneous items, an open section in the middle for keys and parcels, and a floating bottom for shoes you wear often. For door panels, PET door panels are recommended because they are easy to wipe clean. If the hallway is narrow, consider embedding the cabinet body into a recess in a non-load-bearing wall, provided the wall conditions have been confirmed on site. Reference range for mainstream shoe cabinet configurations: Beijing 400–700 yuan/㎡, Baoding, Langfang, Xiong'an and Zhuozhou areas 340–595 yuan/㎡. The above are reference prices and do not constitute a formal quotation; actual projects require further calculation based on dimensions, design, materials, hardware, quantity, and site conditions.
