What depth is suitable for wall cabinets?

Wall cabinets are generally 30–35 cm deep, creating a step down from the 60 cm depth of base cabinets, so you are less likely to bump your head on the door panels while cooking, and the view over the worktop stays open. If a range hood is installed, the wall cabinet depth should also align with the hood body; do not make it too deep or it will block the exhaust path. Another easily overlooked point is door panel thickness and hardware: deep cabinets with ordinary hinges tend to sag, so damped hinges such as Blum or Hettich are recommended. For edge banding we can use PUR edge banding or laser edge banding, with a ten-year warranty on cabinet bodies and returnable if not environmentally compliant (water damage, dampness and human-caused damage are not covered by the warranty). The above is a reference price and does not constitute a formal quotation; actual projects require further calculation based on dimensions, design, materials, hardware, quantity and site conditions.
